Frontal Occipital Holding
Use this technique to release emotions that build up during and after a stressful event or situation. Also, try it when you know you are heading into a potentially stressful situation, like a meeting with your boss, or a phone call with Shaw to let them know you want a discount because your internet only works 50% of the time. Use both hands to apply a firm, continuous pressure as shown. Hold for at least one minute, or as long as you can! Three minutes is ideal. Lay one hand flat across your forehead with the other hand flat against the bottom of your skull bone (the occipital ridge). Firm pressure, no need to try to squish your head! |
